About Fluffy Crunch
Fluffy Crunch is a husband and wife fairy floss business run by Michael and Paola Karamallis out of Peakhurst. Their floss is a long way from the plain pink stick at the show: flavours are layered with things like freeze-dried fruit, honeycomb, crushed cookies, popping candy, powdered Nutella and even chilli, and every batch is made in Sydney. For events, the team sets up a small detachable cart with a trained operator who spins floss in front of your guests and hands it out as petite bouquets, or on LED glow sticks for an extra charge. The two hour package covers the machine, the operator, the cart and up to three creations with edible glitter and sprinkles, and the three hour package allows up to four flavours. Both come with a batch of pre-packed party favours carrying your own label. One machine turns out about 120 serves an hour, and a second one doubles that for large corporate activations. Fluffy Crunch also sells personalised party favours on their own: sealed petite tubs of floss with a label designed to suit your party, sold in bundles of ten with a minimum of twenty. Fairy floss cakes are another option for a birthday table. Many of the flavours are vegan and gluten free, though a few contain allergens such as Nutella, cookies or milk powder, and kosher options are offered for bar and bat mitzvahs. Cart hire is available in Sydney only.

Frequently asked questions
How much does Fluffy Crunch fairy floss cart hire cost?
The two hour service starts at $795 and the three hour service starts at $895. Both include the floss machine, an operator, the cart, custom bouquets and edible toppings, plus a set of personalised party favours as a gift. Large corporate activations are quoted separately.
How much space and power does the fairy floss cart need?
Allow roughly 2 by 3 metres for the cart and a standard 10 amp power point nearby. For outdoor events a branded 3 by 3 metre marquee can be supplied, and a generator can be brought along for an additional fee.
How many guests can the floss cart serve?
One machine produces up to about 120 serves an hour, and adding a second machine doubles that. Guests help themselves at the cart and may return for extra serves at any point during the booking.
Can Fluffy Crunch cater for dietary requirements?
Many flavours are vegan and gluten free, but some contain allergens like Nutella, Oreo or milk powders, so check the flavour ingredients if a guest has allergies. Kosher options are offered for bar and bat mitzvahs. The business is not formally halal or kosher certified.
Can I order personalised fairy floss party favours?
Yes. Petite tubs of floss come with a custom label based on your invitation or theme, in bundles of ten with a minimum order of twenty tubs. Standard favours start from $110, and Sydney metro orders need at least five business days of notice.
