It is a mobile caterer rather than a venue: the team brings food, staff and equipment to private homes, community halls, sailing and surf clubs and function rooms across Sydney, for groups of 30 up to 1,000 guests. Private parties are a big part of the work, from birthdays and anniversaries to engagements, Holy Communions and confirmations. Menus include homemade pastas, antipasto, salads, seafood, mains and desserts, and they can be served as a buffet, a cocktail menu of finger food and canapes, grazing stations of hot and cold food, a platter spread or a formal sit-down meal. Uniformed chefs, kitchen hands, waitstaff and bar staff can be booked for the event, and the hire range covers crockery, cutlery, glassware and heating ovens. The in-house event manager can also help find a venue, arrange decorations, flowers, music and marquees, and pull the whole function together. For hosts who prefer to serve the food themselves, the create-your-own option lets you pick any dishes from the menus and collect them or have hot food delivered, with ovens available to keep it warm.
