About Love Glows
Love Glows is a Newcastle event lighting business run from Mayfield by Kim, Alison and their team. Their work is about the big visual moment: giant illuminated letters, neon signs and ceilings of fairy lights that frame the first dance and fill the background of the photos. Venues in Newcastle and Lake Macquarie are part of the service area, and the team also works through the Hunter Valley. The piece they are known for is a LOVE sign standing 1.5 metres high, designed and made in-house, finished in white with a doubled line of globes. Alongside it sit a pink neon LOVE, a script LOVE that can be suspended so it seems to hover over the dance floor, Mr & Mrs surname letters, a The topper for surname displays, and initials linked by an ampersand or a heart. The surname letters are approved for use outdoors. Overhead, the team can hang fairy lights or build an entire fairy light canopy, inside a function room or above an open-air dance floor. The neon collection includes phrases in warm or cool white, among them Better Together, Just Married, Happily Ever After and It Was Always You, pink and red feature signs, back-lit initials with a mirror gold front, and neon made to your own design. Mirror balls, balloon garlands, festoon strings and marquee letters round out the range, and businesses use the team for branding and activations. Each display is delivered and set up by Love Glows. Bookings are held with a 20% deposit, with the remainder due a month before the event.

What does lighting hire from Love Glows cost for a Newcastle event?
Initials start at $390 plus GST, around $429 with GST. The LOVE sign and fairy light hangs begin at $590 plus GST, canopies at $890 and surname letters at $1,290, all plus GST and delivery.
Are the prices on the Love Glows site inclusive of GST?
No. Website prices are in Australian dollars before GST, and delivery is charged on top, so add 10% and the delivery fee to the listed figure.
Can surname letters be set up outdoors at a Lake Macquarie venue?
Yes. The surname letters are approved for outdoor installation, and if the weather turns on the day the team can shift the signs to a better spot.
Can we order a neon sign made to our own design?
Yes, for couples and businesses. Custom neon usually takes three to eight weeks to make, quotes hold for 28 days, and the design is fixed once paid.
How is a booking confirmed?
Pay a non-refundable 20% deposit to hold the date, with the remaining balance due a month before the event. Any changes that reduce the invoice must be settled 31 or more days ahead.
