About Premier Team Building
Premier Team Building designs corporate team days and leadership programs, and Newcastle is home ground. Rather than pulling an event off a shelf, the team starts by asking what is getting in the way at work, whether it's communication, trust, silos or flagging morale, then builds challenges that tackle it while keeping the day fun. A free online assessment can help narrow down which style of event suits your group. Several formats are built around the city. Newie Team Explorer is a guided bike ride taking in Newcastle's history, sights and local favourites, followed by a Mini-Olympics or an RC speed racer challenge in one of the parks, and it suits groups of 4 to 30 over three hours or more. Teams have also played a digital scavenger hunt on the Newcastle Harbour foreshore, filming videos and hunting for hidden clues, and the format is a regular for Christmas parties in town. Across the lake at Toronto, VR challenges put players in headsets to defuse bombs and solve moving puzzles while their teammates guide them from outside the game. There is plenty more on the list: LEGO builds, a life-sized Mousetrap, skydive days with a team event attached, charity team events, social events, online sessions and large conference programs. For wine-country days, the company also runs winery challenges out in the Hunter Valley. Events run anywhere from an hour-long breakout to retreats spread over several days, for as few as four people or as many as 2,000 and beyond. A facilitator runs the day and makes notes as the group works, and those observations come back to you afterwards as a free report on your team's health.

How We Work
Frequently asked questions
What team-building activities can we do in Newcastle?
Options include Newie Team Explorer, a guided bike ride around the city followed by a park challenge, a digital scavenger hunt along the Newcastle Harbour foreshore, and VR team games at Toronto, plus LEGO and Mousetrap builds and many more.
Can they run our Christmas party in Newcastle?
Yes. Newcastle workplaces have booked the scavenger hunt and team games for their Christmas parties, and social events built purely around having fun are part of the range.
How much does a team-building event cost?
No prices are published. Every program is designed around your group, goals, timing and venue, so it's quoted when you enquire, and the company aims to answer enquiries within a business hour.
What size groups do they work with?
From a team of four up to conferences of 2,000 or more. The Newie Team Explorer bike tour is set up for 4 to 30 people, while larger groups suit conference and large-scale programs.
Is there any follow-up after the day?
Yes. The facilitator watches how people work together as the challenges unfold, and afterwards a free health check arrives setting out what they saw and ideas for what to work on.
