About Snap Magic Photobooths
Snap Magic Photobooths is a photo booth company based in Melbourne that brings two different setups to Mornington Peninsula events, from Mornington and Mount Martha to Rosebud, Rye, Sorrento and the Red Hill wineries. Pick an attended DSLR booth for studio-quality portraits and prints, or a self-serve Drop-Off booth for a relaxed party where guests send photos to their phones. For the DSLR booth, a Canon camera is paired with Godox studio flash lighting and a softbox, and an attendant runs it from start to finish. Guests can print as many sessions as they like, two copies at a time, on strips laid out for your event, and the full collection is posted to an online gallery within a day. Premium adds a backdrop and themed props, Royale brings a flower wall with a Happy Birthday or Better Together neon sign, and DSLR hire starts at three hours. The Drop-Off booth is a slim iPad booth lit by an LED ring light and a softbox. It is delivered, set up and collected later, and while it is there guests operate it on their own, AirDropping or emailing photos, GIFs, boomerangs and slow-motion clips to themselves. The starter Drop-Off tiers are digital, prints come in from Classic upward, and the VIP and Royale tiers bring the flower wall or red carpet with bollards. The team arrives about an hour early to set up at no charge, and that time does not come out of your booked hours. Every booking carries $2M public liability insurance. What does Snap Magic charge for a Mornington Peninsula event?
The self-serve Drop-Off booth begins at $100 for a two-hour digital package, plus a delivery fee that depends on location, and at $200 once prints are included. The attended DSLR booth begins at $450 for three hours, prints unlimited.
What is the difference between the DSLR and Drop-Off booths?
The DSLR option comes with an attendant, a Canon camera, a studio flash and as many prints as guests want. Drop-Off is an iPad booth guests run themselves, sending images to their own phones, and prints are an add-on.
Can we add more time on the night?
Yes. Each extra hour is $100 on a DSLR booking or $50 on a Drop-Off booking, and package lengths run from two up to six hours.
When does the team set up?
About an hour before your start time, so lighting can be tested before guests arrive. The early setup is free and is not counted as part of your hire hours.
Is the business insured for Peninsula venues?
Yes. The business carries $2M in public liability cover, its electrical gear is tested and tagged, and your venue coordinator can be sent a certificate of currency.
