About Paint Your World
Paint Your World is the Mornington studio of artist Michele Ling, who has spent more than 20 years teaching art to children and adults. Her approach is simple: anyone can learn to paint with the right guidance. Private events are the heart of the group offer. Hens, birthdays, bridal and baby showers, Christmas parties and work teams book the studio for roughly two hours of painting, guided one step at a time, with every material supplied. Groups choose a theme, such as flowing ink abstracts, stencilled silhouettes, sunsets or drippy blossoms, or suggest their own idea. Corporate teams can each paint a canvas, split into small groups, or work together on one shared artwork. Guests are welcome to bring their own nibbles and drinks, or the studio can arrange drinks and grazing boards for an extra charge. Decorations and celebration food are fine too. The studio is a large, bright space of about 110 square metres inside Mornington Industrial Park, with free parking out the front and room for buses. Kids' and tweens' art parties are also run here, and a mobile option is available for an extra fee.

Frequently asked questions
How big can a private group be?
Private events start from a group of 6, and the studio fits roughly 30 people, which suits most hens parties, showers and work teams.
Can we bring our own drinks and food?
Yes. Groups can BYO nibbles and drinks, or ask the studio to arrange drinks and grazing boards for an additional fee. Party food, cake and decorations are welcome.
Do we need any painting experience?
No experience is needed. Each painting is taught step by step, materials are supplied, and a typical session runs for roughly two hours, ending with a finished canvas.
Can children have a party at the studio?
Yes. Kids aged 5 and up and tweens from 10 can have an art party at the studio, with BYO party food and cake and use of a small kitchenette.
How does payment work for a private event?
An invoice is issued once the booking is confirmed, and payment is due a week before the event. A deposit may be needed to hold a private date.
