About Delta Force Paintball Melbourne
Delta Force Paintball Melbourne runs outdoor paintball on Boundary Road in Heatherton, with a set of themed game zones built like film sets. Dodge City recreates a Wild West town of the 1880s, Gold Rush has teams fighting over a village and its hidden bullion, Checkpoint Charlie sends you behind enemy lines on a rescue, and Tomb Raider and Resident Evil swap in temple ruins and a darker survival-style arena. Marshals referee every game, and a typical session fits in up to six missions over about three hours. Every player is kitted out with a padded-collar combat suit, full-head goggles with an anti-fog system, body armour and a rapid-fire marker with a hip-mounted magazine. Players 16 and over choose a paintball package on the day, starting at $99.99 for 550 balls with equipment hire, and extra paintballs can be bought from the base camp shop. Younger players have a shorter junior session for ages 8 to 12, which parents and older siblings can join. There's no minimum group size: small groups are matched with others of a similar age and ability, groups of 20 or more can play as their own team, and 40 or more prepaid players can book a private game with the zones to themselves. The undercover base camp has picnic seating where friends and parents can watch from the sidelines, eat a packed lunch or cut a birthday cake. Wear old, light clothes and sturdy closed shoes, bring a change of clothes, and note that games run in the rain.

Frequently asked questions
How much does paintball cost at Delta Force Melbourne?
On-the-day packages for players 16 and over start at $99.99 for 550 paintballs with equipment hire, rising to $129.99 for 750 and $159.99 for 950. The junior session is $75 for ages 8 to 12 and $80 for anyone 13 or older joining in.
How old do you need to be to play?
The Melbourne centre takes players from age 8. Children aged 8 to 12 play in a dedicated junior session, and every player under 18 needs a parent or guardian to sign their registration form before the day.
How many people do we need for a private game?
There's no minimum – small groups are teamed up with other players. With 20 or more you can play together as your own team, and a private game with the zones to yourselves generally needs at least 40 prepaid players.
Can we bring food, drinks or a birthday cake?
Yes. Bring a packed lunch, water and non-alcoholic drinks to the undercover base camp, and a cake is welcome for birthdays. A kiosk sells cold drinks, chips and chocolate, and you can arrange a pizza delivery. Alcohol isn't allowed.
What should we wear and how long does it take?
Wear old, light layers under the supplied combat suit and sturdy closed shoes – no sandals. Sessions run 9am to 12pm or 1pm to 4pm, and a change of clothes and a towel are handy for the trip home.
