About Love Glows
Love Glows is a wedding and event lighting company run by Kim, Alison and their team out of Mayfield in Newcastle. Most of its work is in the Hunter Valley, where it lights receptions at vineyards, estates and barn venues. The focus is statement lighting: oversized letters, neon signs and overhead fairy lights that become the backdrop for the first dance and the photos that follow. The signature piece is a 1.5 metre LOVE sign the team designed and built themselves, with a doubled-up row of globes and a white finish. There is also a pink neon LOVE, a scrolled LOVE that can be raised to appear to float above the dance floor, personalised Mr & Mrs surname letters, The on top of surname letters, and custom initials joined by an ampersand or heart. Surname letters have approvals for outdoor installation. For ceilings, Love Glows hangs fairy lights and builds full fairy light canopies that work indoors or over an outdoor dance floor. The neon range covers warm and cool white phrases such as It Was Always You, Happily Ever After, Just Married and Better Together, plus pink and red statement pieces, back-lit initials with a mirror gold face and fully custom neon. Mirror balls, balloon garlands, festoons and marquee letters are also on offer, and corporate clients use the team for branding and activations. Every display is delivered and installed by the team. The service area lists Pokolbin, Lovedale, Broke, Rothbury, Branxton, Cessnock and Maitland, with the Upper Hunter by request. A 20% deposit secures a date and the balance is due a month before the event.

How much does it cost to hire from Love Glows?
Light-up initials start at $390 plus GST, so about $429 including GST. The LOVE sign and a fairy light hang each start at $590 plus GST, fairy light canopies at $890 plus GST and surname letters at $1,290 plus GST. Delivery is added on top.
Do the website prices include GST?
No. Love Glows lists prices in Australian dollars excluding GST, and delivery is charged separately, so add 10% plus delivery to the figures shown in the collection.
Can the light-up letters go outside?
Yes. The surname letters have approvals for outdoor installation, and the team can move signs if the weather on the day makes their planned spot unsuitable.
Can Love Glows make a custom neon sign?
Yes. Bespoke neon is built to order for couples and businesses, usually taking three to eight weeks. Quotes are valid for 28 days and the design is locked in once paid.
How do we secure our date?
A non-refundable 20% deposit holds the booking, and the full balance is due one month before the event. Changes that lower the invoice need to be finalised at least 31 days out.
