About Divine Designs Wedding & Events
Divine Designs Wedding & Events is run by Rachel, who styles, plans and coordinates weddings from Rutherford, near Maitland. She looks after couples across the Hunter Valley and Lower Hunter and is happy to travel further for the right wedding. Styling is the part of the business many couples meet first: turning a collection of ideas into a room that looks finished. There are two styling options. The finishing touch experience, from $1,200, suits couples who have gathered their own decor: Rachel reviews what you have, then sets up the ceremony, guest tables, signage and stationery and does a final check before guests arrive, with pack down available for an extra fee. The design experience, from $2,500, starts earlier, with a design concept, colour palette and mood board, tablescape design, linen and stationery choices, supplier recommendations and a site visit, then finishes with setup on the day and pack down at the end of the night. Divine Designs also keeps its own hire range: mirror and acrylic signs, easels and stands, wishing wells, champagne towers with glass coupes, fibreglass and metal plinths, sand candles and tealight holders, fairy lights, a neon sign, backdrop and ceiling drapes and table linen. Items can be collected from the Maitland warehouse, or delivered, set up and packed down for a fee, and styling clients get the range at a discounted rate. For couples who want more help, Rachel offers on-the-day coordination from $1,600, partial planning from $3,500 and full planning from $6,000, each ending with coordination of the wedding day itself.

How much does styling cost with Divine Designs Wedding & Events?
Setup of your own decor starts from $1,200, and the full design experience, which includes concept, mood board, tablescape design, setup and pack down, starts from $2,500. Hire items are priced separately.
Can you just set up the decor we already have?
Yes. That is the finishing touch service: Rachel goes through your items and setup needs, then places decor, signage, stationery and table settings and styles the ceremony. Pack down costs extra.
Can we hire decor without booking styling?
Yes. The hire range has no minimum spend and needs a refundable deposit or bond. Pick up from Maitland or ask for delivery, setup and pack down, which carry fees.
What is in the hire range?
Signage and easels, wishing wells, champagne towers from $100, plinths, vases, sand candles, tealight holders, fairy lights, a Let's Party neon sign, a backdrop drape at $250, ceiling drapes, runners and tablecloths.
Do you also plan weddings?
Yes. Alongside styling, Rachel offers on-the-day coordination from $1,600, partial planning from $3,500 and full planning from $6,000, the last one aimed at weddings budgeted at $50,000 or more.
