About Mobilistic DJs
Mobilistic DJs is a weddings and events DJ business started by Allen in 2006 and based at Millers Forest, near Maitland. It plays weddings, birthdays, corporate events and dances across Newcastle, Maitland and the Hunter Valley, as well as pub and club nights. The music library runs from 1950s classics to recent chart hits, and the DJ reads the crowd and works guest requests into the night. Wedding bookings are built around each couple. You can send a playlist of must-play songs, choose tracks for key moments, or leave the mood to the DJ, and Allen is happy to meet beforehand to plan how the reception will run. Ceremony music, MC services to keep the formalities on schedule, and sparklers can all be added, and songs that aren't already in the library can be sourced with some notice. Mobilistic also runs interactive entertainment. Musical bingo swaps numbers for song clips across genres and eras, and there is trivia hosting and karaoke for parties and work functions. Photobooths come with an attendant, props, a custom photo strip design, a leather album and digital copies of every photo and video message, either as part of a DJ package or hired on their own. Quotes are given per event, and a $250 deposit holds the date.

Frequently asked questions
Can we choose the songs for our wedding?
Yes. When you book you can put together a list of must-play songs, and the DJ makes sure they are played on the night. Missing songs can be sourced with notice.
Does Mobilistic DJs offer an MC?
Yes. MC services are available for weddings to keep the reception running smoothly, alongside ceremony music, sparklers and photobooth packages.
How do we secure a booking?
A $250 non-refundable deposit is due within two weeks of booking. Payment can be made by cash, direct deposit, cheque, PayID, PayPal or card, and instalments are accepted.
What is musical bingo?
Players get bingo cards printed with song titles instead of numbers. Short clips are played, guests mark off songs they recognise, and a full row, column or pattern wins.
Can we extend the DJ's time on the night?
Extra time can be arranged before the event, or on the night at the DJ's discretion, and additional fees may apply.
