About Sip Paint & Create
Sip Paint & Create is a small art studio on Diamond Head Drive in Budgewoi run by Maddie, a Central Coast artist and qualified visual arts teacher with a background in acrylics, watercolour, ceramics, printmaking and floristry. The studio takes private bookings for groups of six or more, and every workshop can also be packed up and run in your home or at a venue of your choice anywhere on the Central Coast. The sip and paint class guides everyone through the same artwork with demonstrations at each step, though guests are free to go their own way, and it costs $60 a head with easel, canvas, brushes, paints and an apron supplied. The ceramics workshop teaches hand-building techniques to make two or three pieces such as mugs or vases from 2kg of clay a person, with glazing and firing included and pieces ready to collect after about four weeks, for $120. Flower crown workshops run from $60 to $75 depending on the floral theme, and the two-hour textured art class produces a framed textured piece for $80. Workshops suit hens parties, bridal showers, birthdays, corporate team days and family get-togethers, and there are kids' workshops for children's parties too. Guests bring their own drinks and a grazing plate if they like. To book, send through the date, location, workshop type and occasion, and Maddie will put a session together for the group.

Can you come to us?
Yes. Every workshop is mobile and can be set up at your home or a venue of your choice on the Central Coast, or your group can come to the Budgewoi studio.

Yes. Bring whatever you like to drink and, if you like, a plate to graze on during the session. All the art materials are supplied.
When do we get our ceramics back?
Pieces need time to dry, be fired, glazed and fired again, so they're ready to collect around four weeks after the workshop.
