About The Chalkboard Bus
The Chalkboard Bus is a party bus business based in Farmborough Heights with a simple idea: the inside walls are chalkboards, so the group can write and draw on the bus as the night goes on. Drivers handle the route and the parking, and the group brings its own drinks, with eskies, phone chargers and a bin supplied on every bus. There are three buses. Kevin, also called The Beast, is a 49-seat Hino with a heavy sound system, a large dance floor, a dance pole and a laser show. VanDiesel is a large air-conditioned Mercedes with 44 seats and room for 25 standing, plus a dance floor, party lights and sound. Marissa, the BoogieBus, is a 32-seat MAN whose 15 side seats fold up to make the dance floor bigger, again with lights and sound. The buses are booked for pub crawls, birthday parties, hens and bucks nights, wine tours and wedding transfers. The published pub crawl rate is a six-hour package priced by bus size and zone, with the closest zone covering pick-ups and stops from Scarborough to Gerringong. Further zones cost more, and extra hours are charged by the hour. Pick-up, drop-off and designated stops within your zone are included, and custom pricing is available for trips outside the set areas.

How many people fit on the buses?
Marissa seats 32, Kevin seats 49 and VanDiesel has 44 seats with room for 25 more standing. The right bus depends on the size of your group.
Can we bring our own drinks?
Yes. Drinks are BYO, and every bus carries eskies, phone chargers and a bin, so the group can stock up before the first pick-up.
What does the pub crawl package include?
A six-hour hire with a driver, including pick-up, drop-off and designated stops within your zone. The price depends on the bus size and how far the trip goes.
What if we want to stay out longer?
Extra time is charged by the hour on top of the six-hour package, so let the team know your plans when you book.
Can we really write on the bus?
Yes. The interior walls are chalkboards, and writing messages and drawings on them during the trip is part of the experience.
