About Wollongong Jumping Castles
Wollongong Jumping Castles is a family-owned hire business based around Albion Park and Oak Flats. It was started by a parent who wanted a fun, family-focused business, and it now runs a large range of licensed and themed jumping castles for children's parties across the Illawarra and Kiama. The castles come in several sizes. Mini jumps suit small yards, medium jump castles take eight to ten children at once and suit kids up to ten or twelve, and combo castles add a slide and obstacles for children up to eight. Themes include cartoon and TV characters, superheroes, princesses, dinosaurs, farm animals and plain colours, plus a few specialty pastel castles. Soft play sets for toddlers come in 4 by 4 or 6 by 4 metre layouts. The team delivers and sets up the castle before your hire time starts and packs it down after it ends, so set up never eats into the four or seven hours you book. Castles need flat grass within 25 metres of a power point, and fees apply for hard surfaces, parks and halls. Party machines for fairy floss, slushies, snow cones and popcorn can be added, along with tables, chairs and a generator. Bookings carry a small refundable surcharge, and there is no fee to cancel because of wet weather.

Frequently asked questions
How much room does a castle need?
A medium castle needs a set-up area of about 5 by 5.5 metres, larger combos up to 7 by 7.5 metres, and access paths at least 1.2 metres wide.
Is set up included in the hire time?
No. The team sets the castle up before your hire starts and takes it down after it finishes, so you get the full four or seven hours of jumping.
Can the castle go on concrete or in a park?
Yes, with extra fees. Hard surfaces need weights, which adds a $60 charge, and public parks or halls add $40. Let the team know when you book.
What happens if it rains?
There is no cancellation fee for wet weather. Castles can run in light showers, but if you feel the weather is unsuitable you can cancel at no cost.
Who needs to watch the castle?
A responsible person over 18 must supervise at all times with a clear view inside. Shoes, food, drinks, face paint and flips are not allowed on the castle.
