About Go Hire The Event People
Go Hire The Event People is an event hire company with a warehouse in Unanderra and a history in the industry of more than 50 years. It supplies the structures, furniture and equipment for weddings, private parties, corporate functions, festivals and exhibitions, and its event coordinators help plan the layout from the start. Structures are a speciality. Clear-span pavilions come in widths from 3 to 20 metres and extend in bays, with options for clear roof panels, ceiling lining, clear walls, integrated timber flooring and a bell end. There are also Hampton lawn marquees in one, two and three pole sizes, Electron marquees, pagodas and white self-erect canopies you can put up yourself. Inside, you can add black or white gloss dance floors, outdoor timber flooring, rugs, carpet, staging and party lighting. The furniture range covers dining tables in rectangle and round sizes, recycled timber tables, bar tables, cafe and kids tables, bars, chairs, stools, lounge seating, ottomans, cushions and garden furniture. For catering there is crockery in several styles, cutlery, glassware, bar equipment, serving platters, linen and electrical and gas kitchen equipment, along with candelabras, vases and other table decorations. Quotes are personalised after a free site inspection, and enquiries go through the online form or by phone.

What sizes of marquee are available?
Pavilions come in widths of 3, 4, 6, 10, 15 and 20 metres, extending in 3 or 5 metre bays. Hampton lawn marquees come in one, two and three pole sizes.
Do they inspect the site before quoting?
Yes. Once you have chosen a location, the team offers a free site inspection and then provides a personalised quotation for the structure and equipment.
Can we put up a marquee ourselves?
Yes. White self-erect canopies from 6 by 6 up to 6 by 15 metres come with walls and are pegged into the ground. Weights can be hired separately.
Do they hire tableware and catering equipment?
Yes. The range includes crockery, cutlery, glassware, linen, serving platters, bar equipment and electrical and gas catering equipment for a full event kitchen.
