About Fairy Fantasy Parties
Fairy Fantasy Parties is a children's entertainment business based in Wollongong and run by Carolynn, who first dressed as a fairy for a school book week and was hosting parties by the age of twelve. She went on to study children's services and primary teaching, and her team has now run thousands of parties. Everything is mobile, so the entertainers come to a house, a park, a hall or a workplace. Most bookings centre on a costumed character. The original fairies are still the core of the business, and the cast now includes princesses, mermaids, pirates, cowboys, superheroes and more. The character runs a set of party games chosen to suit the age and number of children, such as parachute games, treasure hunts and dancing, and themes stretch from rainbows and unicorns to jungle animals and a circus big top. Face painting and balloon twisting can be added to a party or booked on their own. Painters use water-based professional paint with glitter and gems, and balloon designs include wands, swords, butterflies, puppies and dinosaurs. For larger events such as fetes and fundraisers, face painters and balloon artists can be hired by the hour with a two-hour minimum. The disco crew runs dance parties with lights, glow sticks and a mirror ball, including neon glow discos and themed nights. Party bags, a pass the parcel with prizes and a filled pinata are available as extras for any booking.
