About Timezone & Zone Bowling Illawarra
Timezone & Zone Bowling Illawarra pairs a tenpin centre with a Timezone games floor in one standalone building on the Princes Highway at Albion Park. There are 24 bowling lanes with lounge seating between them, a combined bowling and café counter with a fully licensed bar, and more than 70 arcade games. Out the back sits a 24-vest laser tag arena with glowing obstacles, and the Spin Zone has seven bumper cars. A prize shop lets arcade players swap their tickets for plush toys, gadgets and treats. The centre is set up for groups. Two party rooms and a 60-seat party area with a raised viewing deck over the lanes host birthdays, end-of-year parties and work functions. Up to six people share a lane, and a game of bowling for five or six players takes roughly 45 minutes to an hour. A laser tag game runs about 20 minutes including the briefing, and players need to be at least six years old and 110cm tall. Bumper car riders must be four or older and at least 112cm tall. Bowling shoes are available at the counter, and socks are sold on site for anyone who arrives in thongs. Birthday parties need at least 10 guests and run for about two and a half hours, with a party host to keep things moving. Group event packages start at 15 people and usually last two to two and a half hours, and a 50% deposit secures the booking. The centre opens from 10am on weekdays and 9am on weekends, running until 11pm on Friday and Saturday nights. Parking is free and accessible, and the nearest bus stop is on the Princes Highway opposite Rosewood Street.
