About DJ Direct
DJ Direct has been running mobile DJs out of Campbelltown in Sydney's south-west since 1984. Alongside its DJs it runs a hire department with a showroom on Hoddle Avenue, a short walk from central Campbelltown, open by appointment on weekdays and Saturday mornings. The team has also handled sound and lighting production for concerts and has worked with artists such as Jessica Mauboy and Vanessa Amorosi. For a sing-along at home, the karaoke jukebox is the main attraction. It has a touchscreen, Bluetooth and an aux input, two quality microphones, a disco light and about 8000 karaoke tracks, and it switches between jukebox and karaoke at the press of a button. Hires run for three days, giving you a free day before and after the party, and the jukebox can be delivered to homes across Sydney, Campbelltown and Wollongong. If you would rather someone else runs it, DJ Direct offers a fully hosted karaoke show, a video disco with music clips on a big screen, and a wedding package where the KJ also acts as DJ and MC. The same hire department rents out sound systems of every size, from a small powered speaker or a battery-powered unit with a wireless mic to compact line arrays, 18 inch subwoofers and large PA rigs for dance parties and festivals. Disco lighting, smoke and haze machines, stage panels, lecterns and projectors are also available. Party DJs cover birthdays, school formals and discos, corporate functions and weddings, playing everything from the 1950s through to current chart music.
