About Valentine Bowling Club
Valentine Bowling Club has been part of the Valentine community on the shore of Lake Macquarie since 1963. It started with a single green and a small clubhouse, added a second green two years later, and has grown into a full club with a bar, gaming room, bistro and function centre. Both greens are synthetic surfaces, and the setting between the lake on one side and a canal on the other gives the outdoor areas plenty of water views. Barefoot bowls is one of the function types the club takes enquiries for, alongside birthdays, engagements, weddings and corporate events, so a group can book time on the green as part of a larger celebration. Upstairs, the function room covers roughly 226 square metres and opens onto a balcony looking straight over the lake, and it works for seated meals or cocktail-style parties. Corporate groups can choose between two event spaces on the foreshore. The functions team sends out an information booklet with packages on request. For food, Jessie's on the Water runs lunch from 11.30am to 2pm and dinner from 5.30pm to 8pm every day, and the bar stocks beer, wine, spirits and a cocktail list. The club opens at 10am daily and closes between 9pm and 10.30pm depending on the night. A courtesy bus runs from Wednesday to Sunday, there is plenty of on-site parking and the clubhouse is air-conditioned. Weekly trivia, raffles and club bowls days run alongside, so check the calendar when you choose a date.

Went to listen to a band and also have dinner, the barramundi was beautiful 😍 and the band was great. Got there as the sun was going down and got some great shots on the water
