About Krazy Kars

Krazy Kars is a mobile remote-control car experience run by Joey from Tingira Heights. Rather than taking the party to a track, the track comes to you: a portable enclosed arena is set up at the house, hall or school, filled with ramps and obstacles, and a fleet of big, rugged RC cars is handed to the kids to drive. Joey supervises from start to finish and packs everything away afterwards. The games keep a mixed group busy. There is a Grand Prix circuit marked out for lap racing, a King of the Hill mode fought over the ramps, and Road Kill, an elimination game that tends to be the loudest part of the session. Cars launch off the jumps, teams can be set against each other, and the rules are explained before anyone takes the controls. The activity suits primary-school children and early high schoolers, so older siblings are not left on the sidelines. Sessions run for 45 to 90 minutes and cater for about 8 to 40 children. The arena needs a clear space of roughly 8 m by 6 m, which can be a hall or gym, a sports court, a playground or a covered outdoor area, so a wet day does not have to cancel the party. Besides birthdays, Krazy Kars visits out-of-school-hours care, vacation care programs and youth groups. Birthday bookings can add invitations and a goodie bag for each guest.

Frequently asked questions

What age group is Krazy Kars suited to?

The arena is designed for children from about five to fifteen, so primary-school kids and early high schoolers can drive together, and the games are set up to work for mixed ages.

How much room does the arena take up?

Allow a clear area of about 8 m by 6 m. That can be indoors in a hall or gym, or outside on a court, a playground or under a covered area.

How long does a session run and how many children can join?

Used the Krazy Kars team on the weekend for a party - we had a blast! Plenty of spare batteries kept us going flat out for a few hours. Well set up and highly recommended.

Krazy Kars came to our vacation care and the children had an amazing time. They loved being able to take turns and have a go at being pit crew. Joey and staff were engaging and children loved the experience.
