About Bayplay Adventure Tours
Bayplay Adventure Tours runs its shop and booking office from a corner spot facing the beach in Portsea. From there the team leads guided rides into Point Nepean National Park, along with water and land adventures around the southern end of the Peninsula. The bike tour lasts two to three hours and covers the length of the park. Riders stop at the old Quarantine Station, follow Coles Track to Observatory Point above the Dolphin Sanctuary, then continue to Fort Nepean, where you can leave the bikes and walk through the wartime tunnels. You can ride an e-bike, a mountain bike or a relaxed seated cruiser, and child carriers fit the mountain bikes and e-bikes. The tracks are kept in good order and mostly smooth, though riders need reasonable confidence and fitness. Private tours put your own group with a dedicated guide, who talks through the park's history and the wildlife you may spot on the way. Bayplay also builds group days around hens and bucks weekends, birthdays and Christmas parties. For teams, the options widen to initiative games, stand-up paddleboarding, a scored sea kayak circuit and a snorkel orienteering race. Gear, instruction and the activities are tailored to your numbers, and timings are arranged around your group.
