About Face Painting Melbourne
Face Painting Melbourne, also known as FPM Entertainment, lists the Mornington Peninsula among the areas it caters for. It is based in Melbourne and run by Antonella Ripani, who studied for a Master's in Public Art at RMIT. Painters have been going out to parties since 2009, and the team can handle a backyard birthday or a large community day. Face painting comes first: full faces, masks, butterflies, animals and festival glitter, with arm and body painting for older guests. The paints are water-based and non-toxic, using TAG, Kryolan, Mehron and Paradise products, and the glitter is made for skin. Sponges go through a hot wash, brushes are cleaned after every job, and children under three are offered a small arm design instead of a full face. Need more than painting? A giant bubble show, a fairy, stilt walkers, hula hoop performers or a roving circus act can also come along. Two bundles suit private parties: the Dream Package pairs painting with a fairy and bubbles, and the Funtastic Package pairs it with balloon twisting. Every artist carries public liability cover and holds a current Working with Children Check. Each booking is quoted separately, so send an enquiry with the date, suburb and the services you want. Tolls and parking go on the bill where needed, and cancelling more than three weeks out carries no fee.

Frequently asked questions
Does Face Painting Melbourne come to the Mornington Peninsula?
Yes. The Mornington Peninsula is named on the business's own list of areas it caters for. Parking and toll costs are added to the quote where they apply.
What designs can the painters do?
Full faces, masks, butterflies, animals and festival glitter looks, along with arm and body painting. The artists can also follow a theme you have in mind.
What paints are used?
The artists use TAG, Kryolan, Mehron and Paradise paints, all water-based and non-toxic, plus cosmetic glitter. Safety data sheets can be supplied if you ask.
Can toddlers be painted?
Face paint suits children from two years old. Under-threes are not given full faces, but a small design on the arm is fine if a parent agrees.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancelling more than three weeks before the event costs nothing. Between three weeks and 14 days out there is a 10% administration fee, and within 14 days the full amount is payable.
