About Poppy Culture
Poppy Culture is a floral design and event styling studio in Mornington, led by founder and creative director Lauren McIntosh. The team of florists, stylists and designers has worked on more than 2,000 weddings and events, and their work leans sculptural and playful while staying refined. For weddings, they design the whole floral picture: ceremony arbours and aisle arrangements, bridal flowers, reception centrepieces and statement installations. They also help choose linen and candles, and pull props from their own range or have custom pieces made by partners. The same approach carries into private parties, corporate functions and brand activations. Their event portfolio runs from birthdays and a bridal shower to gala balls, fundraisers and a Christmas party, each styled to a concept agreed with the client. The studio keeps its own hire range – arbours, plinths, vases and other vessels, candles and holders, sculptural props and ghost chairs – which can be added to a styling job. On the day, the team installs everything, handles any changeovers between ceremony and reception, and packs down afterwards. They work regularly at Peninsula venues such as Point Leo Estate, Port Phillip Estate, Polperro, Tanglewood Estate, The Epicurean Red Hill and Lancemore Lindenderry, as well as on private properties.
