About Momento Films
Momento Films is a Melbourne wedding videography studio that records the day the way it unfolds. The team works in a documentary style, with no staged moments and no awkward posing. They keep a low profile during the ceremony and formalities, then move among the guests once the dancing starts. Only a small number of weddings are booked each year, so each couple gets the team's full attention. The studio is run by Alessandro, known as Ali, who manages the business and films, alongside fellow videographer Thang. Before the day they get to know each couple and talk through the plans, so the final film reflects the people in it rather than a set formula. Every package is filmed in 4K and includes drone footage where the location allows it. Couples choose between a narrative wedding film, which weaves in vows and speeches over music, or a shorter visual film set to music alone. Larger packages add edited videos of the ceremony, the speeches and the first dance, plus a documentary film of one to two hours that follows the whole day. Raw footage is compiled into a single file, and finished films are delivered through an online gallery with no expiry. Prices cover equipment insurance, editing, licensed music and travel up to 100 km return from the city, with a per-kilometre fee beyond that. What does the cheapest Momento Films package include?
The Essenza package at $2849 gives six hours of 4K coverage plus one complimentary hour, one videographer, drone footage where permitted, a wedding film of three to six minutes, raw footage and a shareable link to the highlight film.
Do they film the ceremony and speeches in full?
The Festa, Iconico and Infinito packages include separately edited videos of the ceremony, the speeches and the first dance. Iconico and Infinito also add a documentary film of one to two hours covering the whole day.
Is travel included in the price?
Yes, up to 100 km of total return travel from the Melbourne GPO is included. Beyond that a fee of $1.50 per kilometre applies to the extra distance, calculated on the round trip.
What is the difference between the narrative and visual film styles?
The narrative style is a four to six minute cinematic film that blends music with your vows and speeches. The visual style is a three to four minute film cut to music only, without vows or speeches.
Can we add a second videographer or extra films?
Yes. Add-ons include a second videographer at $150 per hour with a two-hour minimum, a one-minute social highlight for $600, a save-the-date film for $1000 and a 10 to 15 minute feature film for $2000.
