About Snap Magic Photobooths
Snap Magic Photobooths is a Melbourne photo booth company with two distinct set-ups: an attended DSLR booth for studio-style portraits and prints, and a self-serve Drop-Off booth for relaxed parties where guests share their shots straight to their phones. The DSLR booth pairs a Canon camera with a Godox studio flash and softbox, and a friendly attendant stays with it for the whole booking. Guests get unlimited print sessions with two copies each, the strips use a template customised for your event, and the full set lands in an online gallery within a day. The Premium package adds a backdrop and themed props, while Royale swaps in a flower wall with a neon sign reading Happy Birthday or Better Together. DSLR bookings start at three hours, and set-up and removal are included. The Drop-Off booth is a sleek iPad unit with an LED ring light and softbox lighting. It is delivered, set up and later collected, and in between guests run it themselves, sending photos, GIFs, slow-motion clips and boomerangs to their phones by AirDrop or email. Entry Drop-Off packages are digital only, while Classic and above add on-the-spot prints, and the VIP and Royale options bring a red carpet and bollards or the flower wall. Snap Magic covers the CBD and the northern, western, eastern, south-eastern and bayside suburbs, with ballrooms, community halls and private homes all on the list. How much does a Snap Magic booth cost?
Drop-Off booths start at $100 for two hours (digital only) plus a location-based delivery fee, with print packages from $200. Attended DSLR booths start at $450 for three hours with unlimited prints.
How do the DSLR and Drop-Off booths compare?
The DSLR booth is staffed and uses a Canon camera and studio flash with unlimited prints. The Drop-Off booth is a self-serve iPad unit that sends photos to guests' phones, with prints optional.
Can the booking be extended?
Yes. Extra hours are $100 each for DSLR booths and $50 each for Drop-Off booths, and packages come in two, three, four, five or six hour options.
Is delivery included?
DSLR bookings include delivery within Melbourne, with a travel charge added only for venues well outside the metro area. Drop-Off bookings carry a delivery fee based on where the event is held.
Are they insured for venues?
Yes. Snap Magic holds $2M public liability insurance and supplies a certificate of currency to venues, and every booking includes an early set-up before guests arrive.
