About A Touch of Silver
A Touch of Silver is a family-run limousine company based in Melbourne and owned by director Pino, who takes the bookings himself and still drives many of the jobs. The business has been chauffeuring Melbourne couples, formal students and party groups for more than 20 years. The fleet of 10 vehicles is owned outright, so there's no risk of a last-minute swap to someone else's car. The flagship is a custom-built Mercedes GLE 400d stretch limousine seating 13, with a jet-style door, electric steps, multi-zone LED lighting, a sound system and a cocktail bar; a second GLE stretch is finished in black. Two silver Chrysler 300c stretch limousines seat 11 each with ruby red leather, ambient lighting and a minibar. For smaller groups there are two Mercedes S450 sedans and an S63 AMG, a BMW 740i, a six-seat Mercedes GLS and an eight-seat Mercedes V300d. Weddings are a large part of the work, with more than 700 couples driven so far. Long-wheelbase sedans give room for a full dress, and the stretch limousines carry the bridal party together. School formals and debutante balls get a red carpet arrival, and the fleet also covers birthdays, anniversaries, race days and corporate transfers.
