DANN Event Hire has supplied events since 2005 from its showroom in Brooklyn, in Melbourne's west. It is a design-focused hire company: rather than buying standard catalogue stock, the team designs and manufactures many of its own pieces and releases fresh collections each season, then works alongside stylists, planners and caterers to put them together. The furniture range runs from velvet occasional chairs, bouclé and chenille lounges, pod ottomans and coffee tables to café tables, dining chairs, bar stools and modular high bars in curved and straight sections. Finishes include cork, rattan, marble-look tops and brass, so a set-up can lean soft and romantic for a wedding or bold and graphic for a launch. A hospitality range of glassware, cutlery, plates, serving boards and bar carts completes the table. For events without a suitable room, DANN builds marquees and its own KONNECT structure – a modular system in 5m by 5m bays with wall options such as clear panels, timber slats and folding glass doors, designed to look like a permanent pavilion. Typical bookings include styled weddings and long lunches, end-of-year Christmas parties, cocktail functions and brand lounges. The company describes itself as certified carbon-neutral and has sustainable furniture ranges. Can I hire tableware as well as furniture?

How does payment and cancellation work?
Under the hire terms a 50% deposit confirms an order, with the balance due 72 hours before delivery; orders inside seven days need full payment. Cancelling four or more weeks out returns hire fees paid beyond the deposit.
