About Wine Country Limousines
Wine Country Limousines is a Cessnock business that has been driving Hunter Valley weddings since 2001 and runs private winery tours in a luxury stretch limousine. The car seats eight in the back, with a ninth passenger up front, and has a black leather interior with a bar on each side stocked with champagne glasses. Every tour is private, so your group never shares the car with anyone else. The full-day tour runs about seven and a half hours, usually 9.30am to 5pm, and fits four or five stops including lunch at a winery restaurant, paid separately. The half day is four and a half hours with three destinations and an optional lunch. Once you book, you get a list of preferred cellar doors and lunch venues, or you can bring your own plan, and the driver handles the bookings and confirms tasting charges. Stops can include cheese, olives, chocolate, beer, a vodka distillery and kangaroo spotting. Children are welcome with your own car seat, and dog-friendly and family-paced days can be arranged. Weddings get the limousine, known as Belle, dressed with flowers and ribbons, plus a red carpet for the bride. The service covers the bridal party to the ceremony, photo stops, the move to the reception and the couple's exit at the end of the night, with guest transport on request. Hens groups can mix wineries, breweries, distilleries, long lunches and late bars, and bucks days can swap the cellar doors for go-karts, clay shooting, axe throwing or the races. A larger bus can be arranged for bigger parties. The car also handles restaurant, Newcastle Airport, concert and race day transfers.

How many people fit in the Wine Country Limousines car?
Nine. Eight passengers ride in the back of the stretch limousine and a ninth sits up front with the driver. For a bigger hens or bucks party, a larger bus can be arranged.
What does a wine tour cost?
A private half day starts from $500 for up to four passengers plus $40 for each extra person, and a full day from $676 for up to four plus $55 each. Tasting fees are paid at the cellar doors, usually $10 to $20 per person.
Do you do wedding cars?
Yes. The wedding package uses the 8 to 9 seat limousine with a red carpet for the bride and ribbons on the car, and can cover the ceremony, photos, the reception and the end-of-night exit. Weddings are quoted per booking.
Where can you pick us up?
Pickup is included from accommodation in Pokolbin, Lovedale, Rothbury, Mount View, Nulkaba and Cessnock. Broke, Maitland, Lochinvar, Singleton and Newcastle can be arranged for a surcharge.
