About Hunter Concierge
Hunter Concierge was founded by Luke Mesiti and David Lacey in 2014, two hospitality operators who had opened and run venues around the country before settling on helping visitors make the most of the Hunter Valley. The business works as a concierge and event planning service: rather than a single venue or supplier, it pulls together the accommodation, food, activities and people that an event in wine country needs. Weddings are a large part of the work. Couples get help with planning and decisions, introductions to local celebrants, florists, photographers, hair and make-up artists and live entertainment, and a team on the day to make sure everything runs. The same approach covers engagement parties, birthdays, reunions and hens weekends, often built around one of the large private estates offered through its accommodation partners, Hunter Valley Stays and Hunter Valley Holiday Homes. Catering is arranged through its caterers and chefs, from cocktail-style menus to formal sit-down dinners, and a private chef can cook for a group in its own house. Activities include private winery tours with a driver for up to six and a half hours, sunrise balloon flights over Pokolbin, Lovedale, Rothbury or Broke, and mobile massage. For businesses, Hunter Concierge organises conferences, meetings, incentives and team-building getaways, coordinating on-site catering, services and activities. Day-delegate catering packs, from breakfast boxes to grazing boxes, can be delivered to the group's accommodation from Monday to Saturday.

Planning is quoted per event. Published prices cover extras only, such as private full-day wine tours at $105 to $120 per person, balloon flights from $319 per person and catering drop-offs with a $500 minimum spend.

Yes. Its partners include Hunter Valley Stays and Hunter Valley Holiday Homes, along with other private properties, from cottages to large estates suited to housing a wedding party.
