About The Wagon Bar
The Wagon Bar is a mobile bar and pour service run by Leanne and Dave from Aberdare, next to Cessnock, who bring a long hospitality background to every booking. Their bar is a rustic horse float fitted out for drinks service, and it suits the vineyard weddings, garden parties, engagements and birthdays that make up much of their work. It works on a BYO basis: you buy the beverages and the team serves them. The Starter Package runs for five hours, starting from $1,720, and covers up to 90 guests. It includes two RSA-qualified bartenders, wine and sparkling glassware plus glasses for soft drinks, ice, fridges and eskies, a purified water station, bar styling and props, a customised drinks menu board, all the serving equipment, set up, pack down and tidying of bar rubbish. There is even an esky for the bridal party to take on photos. More hours, more guests, a tea and coffee service or a champagne tower can be added, and packages can be adjusted on request. The bar carries public liability insurance, and Leanne holds a NSW Police Check and a Working with Children Check. The Chilly Wagon, a large mobile cool room, can be hired alongside the bar or on its own from $275 for 24 hours, with extra days at $100. It comes with three-tier shelving, lighting inside and out, an air curtain, a 30 metre lead and wheel chocks, and pairing it with the bar earns a package discount. Travel up to 80km round trip from Cessnock is included in the bar package, with fees beyond that.

Yes. The Wagon Bar is a BYO pour service, so you buy the drinks and the bartenders serve them from the wagon. The team brings the glassware, ice, fridges and eskies.
How far will The Wagon Bar travel?
The bar package includes up to 80km round trip from Cessnock, which covers much of the Hunter Valley. Further afield is fine too, with travel fees quoted for the trip.
Can we keep food and drinks cold as well?
Yes, with the Chilly Wagon, a large mobile cool room from $275 for 24 hours with extra days at $100. It has shelving and lighting, and for insurance reasons it can't be towed or moved by the hirer.
Can the package be extended?
Yes. Extra hours, more guests, tea and coffee or a champagne tower can be added on request. Send the date, times, address and guest numbers through the booking form for a quote.
