About The Village Inn
The Village Inn sits at 9-11 Glenmore Road, Paddington, in a two-storey building that first traded as a pub in 1890. Bi-fold doors open the ground floor to the street, the menu sticks to classic pub cooking, and the regular calendar covers trivia, Sunday music sessions and live sport on screens across both levels. It is dog friendly and handy for a drink before a game at the SCG or Allianz Stadium. Functions happen upstairs. The Print Room is the main space, a room of eclectic, bric-a-brac furnishings with a balcony that wraps around above Glenmore Road, and it takes up to 50 guests. The Horse Shoe is a heritage nook for 25, and pairing it with the upstairs bar stretches that to 35. For a bigger group the whole upper floor can be booked for 75, though functions of that size are not taken on Thursdays, Fridays or Saturdays. Food is ordered as canapés priced per person, per item, with choices such as jalapeño poppers, salt and pepper squid, beef or chicken sliders, chicken skewers and mini fish and chips, plus small and large grazing boards. Every space carries a minimum food and drink spend set by the event manager, and a $500 deposit confirms the booking. Music can be the pub's own or your playlist through the AUX input on the house system. A 5% gratuity is added to the final bill.

The Print Room holds 50, the Horse Shoe 25 and the Horse Shoe with the upstairs bar 35. The entire upstairs level can take 75, but not on Thursdays, Fridays or Saturdays.
Is there a minimum spend?
Yes. Each function space carries a food and beverage minimum spend, which the event manager sets when you enquire. A $500 deposit is paid at booking and the balance on the day.
What food can we order?
Canapés are priced per person, per item, with options like sliders, squid, chicken skewers, spring rolls and chocolate caramel tart. Grazing boards are $150 small or $250 large. Share dietary needs with the event manager in your final details.
Can we play our own music?
Yes. You can connect your own device to the in-house system through an AUX cable, use the pub's music, or ask the event manager to organise something.
Can we bring a cake or decorations?
Yes, a cake can be delivered on the day, with a $20 cake charge on the final bill. Decorations are welcome once approved, but confetti, petals and scatters are not allowed.
