About The Salisbury Hotel
The Salisbury Hotel has been on Percival Road in Stanmore since 1899, about five minutes on foot from Stanmore Station. It is a split-level local with a bistro, a weekend café, live sport and free live music, and it runs a refreshed beer garden out the back. There are four ways to book it. The Courtyard is the largest at 90 guests, with a blend of high and low seating, its own bar close by and step-free access from Percival Lane, and it is the usual choice for birthdays, engagements, wedding receptions and Christmas parties. The Cobblestones is the smaller outdoor option for 40, with high alfresco tables under a retractable awning. Inside, the Hall and Loft is a semi-private split-level room for 50 with high ceilings, grand glass doors and a large TV for slideshows or presentations. The Booths are eight booths beside the bar that seat up to 40. The function menu is built for sharing: a $600 grazing table of charcuterie, cheeses, antipasti and fruit, platters of hot and cold canapés such as coconut prawns, salt and pepper squid, party pies, rice paper rolls and sushi, skewers and sliders by the 20 or 30, and 16-slice pizzas at $35. Friday to Sunday bookings carry a minimum spend on food and drinks, which can be made up of a package or grazing table plus a bar tab. The courtyard has a 10pm curfew.

Is there a minimum spend?
Events booked Friday to Sunday require a minimum spend on food and drinks for exclusive use of a space. The amount is quoted on enquiry, and anything not reached is charged as venue hire. A food package or grazing table combined with a bar tab both count towards it.
What food is on the function menu?
Options include a $600 grazing table, hot and cold canapé platters from $50 to $120, 30-piece skewer platters and 20-piece slider platters at $120, and 16-slice pizzas at $35 each, with a gluten-free base for $5 more.
Can we bring a cake or decorations?
Yes. A cakeage fee of $20 per cake covers refrigeration, cutting and plating. Decorations are welcome, but glitter, confetti and harmful balloons are not, and setup is limited to 30 minutes.
How late can a function run?
The Courtyard has a 10pm curfew because the pub is in a residential area, and noise limits may apply to functions going past 10pm.
