About Empire Karaoke
Empire Karaoke — 帝国KTV — is a karaoke lounge and bar on George Street, a couple of minutes from Burwood station. Every booking is a private room, and staff bring food and drinks to you, so the group never has to leave mid-song. The rooms are dark and glossy, with red and black leather booths, marble-look tables, backlit geometric ceilings and big screens. Smaller rooms suit 1 to 6 or 8 to 15 people, and two VIP rooms take 20 to 25. The song library runs past 100,000 tracks, with an easy search system, a strong sound set-up and distinctive lighting. On weekday afternoons you pay per person per hour; in the evenings and on weekends, rooms are charged per hour. For a party, packages combine two or three hours in the room with jugs of mixed spirits and a fruit platter — the biggest covers 25 to 30 people. It's a popular choice for bucks and hens nights and birthdays.
