About Bald Rock Hotel
The Bald Rock Hotel, often just called The Bald Rock, has been trading on Mansfield Street in Rozelle since 1876 and has held its licence without a break longer than any other venue on the Balmain peninsula. The family owners have been restoring the pub to its original sandstone character, and locals come for the food, the friendly bar team and local musicians playing live. The pub offers several areas that can be matched to the size of your group, including a sunny terrace that is also the favourite spot of the pub's golden retriever. It suits work functions, Christmas parties, farewell drinks and engagement parties, and there are no hire fees for any of its spaces, so you only pay for what your guests eat and drink. For food, the kitchen offers dedicated canapé menus and set menus for functions. Kitchen hours run through lunch and dinner every day, and the bar is open from midday until late on weekdays.
