About Hidden Door Experiences
Hidden Door Experiences is a team building and corporate events company whose head office sits in the Sydney CBD. It has been running events for more than 18 years and has topped the team building category of Spice magazine's annual Hot 100 supplier awards for six consecutive years. Sydney is its home base, and its teams also work in Melbourne and Brisbane, in Canberra, on the Gold Coast and at Byron Bay, and in the Blue Mountains and Hunter Valley, with groups ranging from about 10 people to conferences of more than 1,000. The core offer is a catalogue of hosted activities: outdoor formats like Survivor, Wipeout, Urban Golf and The Amazing Race, indoor ones like Brick Masters (a LEGO build challenge), The Big Picture and the escape-room style Hostage, plus game shows, bingo, wellbeing sessions and charity builds such as Bikes 4 Tykes. It also sells complete Sydney packages that bundle a venue, food, drinks and entertainment: an Amazing Race finishing at The Sydney Cidery, pub trivia at the Harbour View Hotel in The Rocks, game shows at Rydges World Square and InterContinental Double Bay, and a rooftop lunch at The Rook. Beyond that, the team plans Christmas parties, family days, garden parties, retreats and incentive trips. Packages start at $89 a head, and the company puts most Sydney activities at roughly $50 to $100 a head depending on group size, format and venue. It recommends booking four to six weeks out, longer for end-of-year dates, and a 50% deposit confirms the booking. Every outdoor activity has a wet-weather fallback. It suits HR and office managers who want one supplier to handle either a single activity or the whole event.

What is included in the $89 Amazing Race package?
It runs about two and a half hours: a 1.5-hour race through the CBD covering roughly 2km on foot, then an hour of drinks and canapés in a reserved area at The Sydney Cidery while results are announced. An event host and photos are included, and the price is based on at least 20 guests.
How far ahead should we book, and what deposit is needed?
Hidden Door suggests four to six weeks' notice, and more for December parties and busy conference periods. You request a quote, choose the activity and pay a 50% deposit to lock it in. Short-notice events are still worth asking about.
Can they organise the whole event, not just the activity?
Yes. Beyond the activity itself, the team can take care of venue hire, catering, invitations and RSVPs, AV, keynote speakers and transport, or handle only the pieces you need. They can also supply an MC, Sam Wallace.
What happens if it rains on an outdoor activity?
Every outdoor Sydney activity comes with a wet-weather plan. Depending on the day, the group moves under cover, plays an indoor take on the same activity, or swaps to a different indoor format, so it still goes ahead on the day without losing your deposit.
Where in Sydney will they run an event?
They come to your office or chosen venue anywhere in Sydney, from the CBD, The Rocks and Barangaroo to Darling Harbour, North Sydney and Parramatta, and can suggest a venue if you don't have one. Regional options include the Hunter Valley, the Blue Mountains and a dinner package at Crowne Plaza Hawkesbury Valley in Windsor.
