About Rotunda Private Dining @ InterContinental Sydney
The InterContinental Sydney occupies the old Treasury Building at the Circular Quay end of the CBD, with the Royal Botanic Garden and the Opera House a few minutes away on foot. The Rotunda is one of its private dining rooms, and its shape gives it away: everything is arranged around a single, large round marble table, so nobody is stuck at the far end. The finish is rich and enclosed — deep green upholstered walls, a low domed ceiling and a green striped carpet — while a curved window runs floor to ceiling on one side, framing the sandstone facades and mature trees outside. It seats up to 16, and groups of 10 to 20 are its usual size. The hotel caters in-house and runs the bar service, with the liquor licence running to 11pm. There's air conditioning, Wi-Fi and a built-in PA, plus a projector, screen, whiteboard and conference-call equipment for a working dinner. You can play your own music or bring a DJ, and there's a small clear area to dance. Access is step-free, with accessible toilets.
