About Herradura Semi-Private Room @ Barrio Cellar
Barrio Cellar is a Mexican bar and eatery below street level on Elizabeth Street, a short walk from Martin Place and St James stations. The Herradura room sits off to one side of the main bar: close enough to feel the buzz, but screened off so your group has its own table. The room is long and narrow, with bare brick, plastered walls, a low ceiling and soft, warm lighting. The centrepiece is a single long timber table that's laid with glassware, cutlery and candles before you arrive, with a mix of timber and upholstered chairs. It seats up to 18, or around 23 if people would rather stand and mingle. The food comes from the Barrio Cellar kitchen — tacos, tostadas, jalapeño poppers, churros — and drinks come from the bar, with packages available. There's Wi-Fi in the room. It suits a relaxed birthday dinner, a team lunch or a get-together where conversation matters more than a dance floor.
