About Li'l Darlin Crows Nest
Li'l Darlin Crows Nest is the North Shore sibling of the Surry Hills cocktail bar, on Willoughby Road a few steps from the Crows Nest Metro. It is a relaxed spot for share plates, pizzas and brightly coloured cocktails, and it hosts group bookings for birthdays, hens and bucks parties, farewells and team events. Behind the bar is Loom, a small music lounge on Willoughby Lane with DJs from Thursday to Sunday. The cocktail class is the most popular group package. A bartender demonstrates first, then guests take turns behind the bar making a cocktail from the Legend list; favourites are the Gummy Beartini, the White Choc Passionfruit and a Fairy Floss Martini. Guests are grouped by the drink they pick and rotate through. Every package includes food: the $99 option comes with pizzas and fries, the $109 adds calamari, arancini and brownies, and the $129 premium menu brings burrata, antipasto, duck pancakes and prawn tacos. The bottomless masterclass combines the class with a bottomless drinks sitting and share-style food at $149 per person. Classes need at least eight guests, and smaller groups can join public classes on set dates. Mocktail versions are available at the same price, and outside entertainment such as a drag host can be arranged, with evening bookings possible at this venue.

How much is a cocktail class?
Packages are $99, $109 or $129 per person depending on the food menu, and the bottomless cocktail masterclass is $149 per person. Private packages need a minimum of eight guests.
What cocktails can we make?
Each guest picks one Legend Cocktail. Options range from a Blood Orange Margarita and the Vera Green to Hundreds and Thousands, and the team will try to fit in a classic if you ask.
Can we book a class in the evening?
Often, yes. Crows Nest has more room than the Surry Hills bar and can sometimes take evening class bookings, so mention your preferred time when you enquire.
What if someone in the group doesn't drink?
They can make a mocktail version instead, as most Legend Cocktails can be made alcohol-free, and the package price stays the same.
We're a small group. Can we still do a class?
Private packages need eight guests, but public cocktail classes run on selected dates with no minimum, so smaller groups can book into those.

I used to go to li’l darlin in Surry Hills in my younger uni days(~ 10 years ago) , and it was delightful to know that not much has changed! Food was great, cocktails were delicious.
