About Tippled Cocktail Classes
Tippled is a cocktail class business based on Commonwealth Street in Surry Hills, run by bartender Chris, who has spent years behind bars and has built his classes around native Australian ingredients. Each class is hands-on: everyone shakes up four cocktails while Chris talks through the history of spirits and cocktails, so you come away with both the technique and a few good stories. Open classes are $97 per person and suit couples or people coming on their own who want to meet others over a drink. Private group sessions take up to 10 people for $970, which works well for hens parties, birthdays, engagement drinks or a small work outing where you want the host to yourselves. Hens groups are a particular focus, and the format keeps things light and social rather than technical.
