About Li'l Darlin Surry Hills
Li'l Darlin is a cocktail bar and restaurant on Elizabeth Street in Surry Hills, and its cocktail classes are one of its most popular group bookings. Guests are greeted with a drink, watch a demonstration from the bartenders, then take turns behind the bar to make a cocktail of their own. Each person can pick a different drink from the bar's Legend Cocktails list, such as the Fairy Floss Martini, Gummy Beartini, Blood Orange Margarita or White Choc Passionfruit, and guests who are not drinking can make a mocktail for the same price. Private class packages need at least eight guests and all include food. The $99 per person package comes with a pizza menu and shoestring fries, the $109 package adds tapas such as calamari, arancini and brownie swirls, and the $129 premium package brings a larger share menu and an extra signature cocktail made by the bartenders. For a longer celebration, the bottomless cocktail masterclass at $149 per person combines the class with 90 minutes of bottomless wine, beer and selected cocktails plus a share menu. Smaller groups can join a public class on selected dates, which has no minimum numbers. Classes run Tuesday to Saturday, with sessions starting at 12pm, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm. The class itself usually takes between half an hour and an hour for groups of eight to fifteen, and most dietary requirements can be catered for if noted when booking. Groups can arrange outside drag entertainment at Surry Hills between 12pm and 4pm. Full payment is needed to secure a Surry Hills booking, and the bar serves under responsible service of alcohol rules.
