The Terminus is a long-standing pub at 61 Harris Street in Pyrmont, a short walk from Darling Harbour, with a restaurant, a cocktail lounge called Vera's, a dog-friendly beer garden and rooms for overnight stays. The 389 bus stops across the road at the corner of John Street, and the John Street Square light rail stop is close by. It has several function areas that can be used privately or semi-privately. The Deck is a bright upstairs room with a retractable roof above the courtyard, taking 45 for cocktails or 36 seated. Add Vera's Balcony, with its fireplace and direct access to the cocktail bar, or book the entire top floor, deck, balcony and lounge together, for up to 100 standing or 65 seated. On the ground floor, the Courtyard sits inside old sandstone walls, partly open to the sky and strung with lights, holding 80 standing or 70 seated. For smaller dinners there are two private dining rooms: Room 1917 seats 8, and Room 1841 seats 16 to 18 with AV, natural light and disabled access. Amplified music is not allowed on the Deck or in the Courtyard under the venue's DA conditions. The functions menu is adjusted to suit each event, and guests in the dining rooms get full table service with set menus or shared banquets designed by the head chef.
