Skye Bar & Lounge sits on level 11 at 60 Burwood Road, high enough above Burwood that the view runs panoramically back to the city skyline. Its semi-private rooftop bar gives the inner west a proper rooftop function option without the trip into town. The space is contemporary — dark timber floors and linear neon lighting overhead — with cushioned lounge chairs and high stools set around open-sided balustrades. It holds up to 150 guests and has its own illuminated bar counter, so a drinks reception can flow without competing with the rest of the venue. Personalised theming is welcome. There's a PA system and Wi-Fi, and you can play your own music, within the venue's sound limit of 65 decibels — drums and percussion aren't permitted, so it's a better fit for a DJ playlist at conversation volume than a live band. Access is step-free with accessible toilets, and there's paid parking on site plus free street parking nearby.
