Rydges Cronulla Beachside is on the Kingsway, a short walk from the sand, and its Poolside Balcony is the spot guests gravitate to. The terrace sits up above the palm trees, so the view runs straight out over Cronulla Beach — the kind of backdrop that does most of the work for a sunset drinks or an engagement toast. It holds up to 50 standing or 24 seated around a single table, and it's partly covered, which helps on a hot afternoon. There's a PA system for music and speeches, a dance floor area, and you're welcome to play your own music or bring a DJ. The terrace is step-free and wheelchair accessible. The balcony is also included free of charge when you book the hotel's Sutherland or Solander function room.
