Elimilio Play Events is a mobile play and styling business in Caringbah, started by Victoria, a mum of two boys whose names inspired the business name. Her background in home decor shows in the equipment: bounce houses in white and soft pastels rather than bright cartoon prints, soft play sets in colourways such as pink, blue, lilac, tan and white, and clear bubble domes filled with balloons. The setups are aimed at first birthdays, christenings, baby showers, gender reveals, weddings and mums' group catch-ups, as well as family reunions and corporate days. The castles start with Elara, a 2.5m bounce house for children up to four at $275, then Serenity with an attached ball pit at $330, the 3m Valora in baby pink or baby blue at $363, the 3m by 4m Kingsley with clear pillars that can be filled with floating balloons at $385, and the 4m by 5m Legacy with a slide and ball pit at $600. Inflatable-only bundles combine a castle with the Bubble Dome, 50 latex balloons and safety mats for a four-hour hire, from $600 for Tiny Tots Two to $825 for the Cloud Combo, while full soft play packages run from $660 up to $1,320 and beyond. What comes with the Bubble Dome?

The Bubble Dome comes in 2.5m and 3m sizes and is listed from $330. The standard hire is three hours, with extra hours at $75, or four hours when booked with a soft play package. It includes 50 latex balloons in your chosen colour, the blower, an extension cord and a shoe container, and a $150 bond applies. It needs a level surface, cannot go on dirt, gravel, mulch or rocks, and has to stay out of extreme heat, cold, wind and rain when set up outdoors.

How do the deposit, bond and cancellations work?

A $250 non-refundable deposit secures the date, the balance is due 14 days before the event, and a bond of $200 to $300 is paid with it and returned within a few business days after inspection. Cancelling more than 14 days out turns the deposit into a six-month credit, between 7 and 14 days the deposit is lost, and within seven days nothing is refundable.

What happens if the weather turns bad?

Indoor events go ahead as planned. Outdoor setups should be in a covered or shaded area, and inflatables will not be set up in winds over 20km/h or when heavy rain is forecast. Bookings are not refunded because of weather, but depending on how much notice is given, payments can become a credit for a later date. Having an indoor backup plan is strongly recommended.
