About All Time Amusements
All Time Amusements is a carnival and amusement hire business from Sydney's south west, run by Shane and Gavin, that brings rides, inflatables and fair food to fetes, school carnivals, club days, promotions and private parties. The inflatable side of the range includes a traditional jumping castle, the Haunted Fun House, a fully enclosed walk-through inflatable with slides and a maze inside that is built for fun rather than frights, a 10m Giant Super Slide that can move a few hundred riders an hour, and a smaller Dragster Slide with an easy ladder climb for young children. The rides are the bigger part of the business. Smaller children are catered for by a mini Ferris wheel with six covered seats that fits in a 5m by 3m space, a chair-o-plane, a trackless train, a fleet of five two-seat mini jeeps and a rocking tug boat ride that seats whole families. For older kids and adults there are dodgem cars, a cup and saucer ride holding around two dozen riders, a Rock and Roll Round Up thrill ride, a computer-controlled bucking bull and a mechanical surfboard set inside an inflatable surround, plus an 8m mobile climbing wall that takes five climbers at once. Popcorn, hot dogs, fairy floss, ice cream and soft drinks can be added to the day. Rides come with uniformed, trained staff to run them, the equipment carries public liability cover and WorkCover approval, and mechanical engineers check it regularly. Community events and fetes can choose between a straight hire fee and a percentage-of-takings arrangement, and if a ride is not on the list the team will often be able to source it. Prices are quoted per event, so call the office on weekdays or send a quote request through the website.

Do they have a jumping castle as well as rides?
Yes. Alongside the carnival rides they hire a jumping castle, the Haunted Fun House (an enclosed walk-through inflatable with slides and a maze that is not scary), a 10m Giant Super Slide and a smaller Dragster Slide for young children.
How much space does the Haunted Fun House need?
Allow an area about 15m wide by 20m deep. It suits parks, school grounds and larger venues rather than a typical backyard.
Can a school fete pay a share of takings instead of a hire fee?
Yes. Rides can be booked on a standard hire basis or on a percentage of takings, which suits fetes, carnivals and fundraisers that sell ride tickets.
What does the bucking bull need?
A 6m circle with 2.7m of clearance above, 1m-wide access with no steps to the setup spot, and two power connections. It is joystick and computer controlled and run by their operator.
