About Bobbi's Pole Studio

Bobbi's Pole Studio opened in 2004 as the first pole dancing school in Australia, and it is still the home of the Miss Pole Dance Australia competition. Its city studio is on Level 3 at 251 Elizabeth Street, across the road from Hyde Park, with Museum Station opposite and Town Hall Station about seven minutes away on foot. Alongside its term classes, the studio runs private hens and girls' night parties for groups who have never tried pole before. There are four party packages, each needing at least seven paying guests. Sip and Spin, from $55 per person, is a 90-minute party with a pole or lap dance lesson, sparkling on arrival, dress-up costumes and group photos, finishing with a pole show from a professional teacher. Burlesque and Bubbles swaps in a burlesque lesson for $75 per person. Two longer two-hour packages at $85 and $105 per person add a sketching session with a live model to the lesson, costumes and bubbles. Extra class time, allowing you to mix two dance styles, turns the booking into a two-hour party at $70 per person. A non-refundable $110 deposit secures the date, and the balance is paid in cash on the day. Final numbers are needed 48 hours ahead; groups under seven pay a minimum of $385, and guests who only want to watch can come for $15 each. Additional bottles of sparkling are $30. Street parking is available nearby, along with two parking stations on Nithsdale Street and Goulburn Street. Being in the middle of the city makes it easy to pair with dinner or drinks afterwards.
