About Seven Star

At 98 feet, Seven Star is one of the largest charter superyachts on Sydney Harbour, and she can host up to 80 guests for a cocktail party, 40 for a BBQ or buffet, or 12 for formal a la carte dining. The main saloon is set around a glass bar, with a home theatre system for music and presentations, and the whole yacht is air-conditioned. The large aft deck opens through retractable curved glass doors, the bow has a cushioned sunbed, and the sundeck has its own jacuzzi. For swimming, a teak platform with a diving board leads to inflatable pool toys and an aqua mat, and a two-storey inflatable slide and a jet tender can be added. For overnight charters, a stateroom with a double bed and two twin cabins, all with ensuites and showers, sleep up to six guests.

Pricing

Seven Star is $2,250 per hour from April to October with a minimum of 3 hours, and $2,500 per hour from November to March with a minimum of 4 hours. Overnight charters from 6pm to 9am are $20,000 (not available November to January), and 24-hour hire is $30,000 (not available November and December, and time restrictions may apply). New Year's Eve starts from $90,000 and New Year's Day from $30,000. Public holidays carry a 25% surcharge and BYO isn't permitted.

Bar and waitstaff are $260 per staff member for up to 4 hours, then $60 per additional hour, with one required per 10 guests. A chef is $340 for up to 4 hours and $85 per additional hour, and is required for buffet and BBQ menus. Public wharf fees are $50 per wharf, jacuzzi hire is $300 and the inflatable slide is $2,000. A $2,500 deposit confirms the booking, the balance is due 14 days before the event, and a $2,000 bond is paid before the cruise and returned afterwards.

Food

The canapé menu is $54 per person, with rice paper rolls, mini bruschetta, petite beef burgers with Gruyère, mini beef stroganoff pies, chicken san choy bow and chicken satay skewers. Platters need a minimum of three items: dips at $15 per person, antipasto or fruit and cheese at $20, oysters or king prawns at $25, a dessert tasting plate at $18 and a cold seafood platter at $85. A basic pizza menu is $15 per person on select cruises, and the children's menu of chicken nuggets and chips is $25 per person. BBQ, buffet and fine dining menus are also available, and a chef must be booked for any buffet or BBQ menu.

Beverages

The beer, wine and sparkling package is $18 per person, per hour, with Chandon Imperial, Oyster Bay white and red, Corona, New York Lager and Becks, plus soft drinks, juice, water, tea and coffee. Upgrades per person, per hour are $7 for top-shelf spirits, $35 for Moët & Chandon Imperial, $45 for Veuve Clicquot and $85 for Dom Pérignon. Selections may change with the season.

BYO drinks are $20 per person. BYO isn't available on Friday and Saturday nights in November, December and January, or on public holidays.

Wharfs & Availability

Seven Star's availability is managed through a live calendar, so check your date when you enquire. The minimum charter is 3 hours from April to October and 4 hours from November to March, and overnight (6pm to 9am) and 24-hour charters are also available outside the peak summer months.
