About Barefoot Blue

Barefoot Blue is a 16-metre Super Sea Cat power catamaran with three spacious decks across two levels, giving up to 65 guests uninterrupted 360-degree views of Sydney Harbour. Comfortable lounge areas and indoor cabin seating mean there is room to relax as well as mingle, and a swim ladder makes it easy to get in the water. The boat is set up for entertaining. There's a large BBQ and a fully equipped galley, generous eskies for keeping drinks cold, and the boat supplies serving tables, bowls, platters, cups, and glasses for champagne and wine. Drinks are BYO, so your group can bring exactly what it wants. The entertainment system includes DJ decks, a mixer and six speakers, and every charter comes with the Big Sound package, which adds 240V power and powered PA speakers. Gourmet platters and BBQ menus, with a seafood option, can be added if you'd rather not cater yourselves.

Pricing

Barefoot Blue charters run for 4 hours: $3,400 on weekdays, $3,800 on weekends and $3,600 in December. Public holidays are $5,400 for a 5-hour charter. Each price covers the Big Sound package too, meaning 240V power and powered PA speakers.

Wharf fees are $50 per wharf, and DJ decks and mixer for a BYO DJ are $100. A $1,000 deposit confirms the booking, the balance is due 10 days before, and a $500 refundable bond applies.

Food

Bring your own food, with plates, cutlery, platters, bowls and serving tables supplied, a fully equipped galley and a large BBQ on board. If you'd rather have it sorted, the Captain's gourmet platters are $15 per person for two of seasonal fruit, cheese or dessert. The Captain's gourmet BBQ is $30 per person, with gourmet sausages, roasted corn, marinated lamb and vegetable kebabs, garden salads, bread rolls, a fruit platter and a cheese platter on arrival. For $40 per person the seafood BBQ adds chilled king prawns and BBQ calamari with garlic, lime and butter. Menu items can vary with the season.

Beverages

Drinks and ice are BYO. Cups are supplied, wine and champagne glasses are on board, and there are generous eskies to keep everything cold.

Wharfs & Availability

Barefoot Blue is available every day, subject to the calendar. Cruises run for 4 hours (5 on public holidays) and must start no later than 6pm.

King Street Wharf in the CBD is the most popular pick-up, and Rose Bay, Woolloomooloo and Lavender Bay are also available. All wharves are subject to availability, and other locations can be arranged on request for an extra fee. Wharf fees are $50 per wharf.
