About The Guinness Room + The Balcony @ The Woodbridge Hotel
The Woodbridge Hotel is a federation-style pub on East Street in Guildford. Downstairs it runs a lounge bar, a bistro, a beer garden and regular live music, while the first floor is set aside for private functions. The main upstairs option joins The Guinness Room with The Balcony. The Guinness Room is an indoor room that keeps its heritage character with a more modern finish, seating about 10 at one table or holding 20 standing. The Balcony is an open-air deck on the same level, looking out above the trees towards James Street. It has a private bar of its own and is a smoke-free area. Booked as a pair, the two spaces take up to 70 guests in a cocktail format, with people moving between the room and the deck. Smaller groups can book The Balcony alone for up to 50, and the hotel also has three small private rooms for eight to ten people. Food is served as shared platters sized for eight to ten guests, from bread and dips or sandwiches to grazing boards, mini pies, sausage rolls and a vegetarian selection. Sliders and mini fish and chips can be added by the piece. Drinks run on a classic or premium package for two, three or four hours, or on a bar tab with a limit you set and can lift during the night. A cash bar is the other option. The team hosts birthdays, engagements, wedding receptions and work functions, so send an enquiry to book.

Always a good feed and cold beer. Large size snitty and fish. Lamb shank and guinness pie are excellent.
