About Peninsula Tavern
Peninsula Tavern is a pub on Railway Parade in Maylands. Its public bar pours a long list of beers on tap, wines and cocktails, with big screens for the sport, three pool tables and TAB and Keno facilities. Behind the main bar are two function spaces that can be set up with a range of furniture and seating layouts. Catering packages are offered for both, and the venue says it handles social celebrations and corporate gatherings alike. Nelson's Bar is the larger room, a private space with its own bar, a small dance floor and its own bathrooms. It holds up to 140 guests for cocktail or seated events and suits birthdays, engagements, weddings and company sundowners. The West Wing is the smaller option for 20 to 50 people, used for meetings, conferences, morning and afternoon teas and smaller private celebrations. Its platter menu is in the function pack, with orders locked in a fortnight ahead.
