About The Courtyard @ The Last Local
The Last Local is a tavern on Nicholson Road in Canning Vale that brews beer on the premises. It runs a busy bar with sport on the big screens, karaoke and live bands across the weekend. The Courtyard is the venue's main space for functions. It is fully enclosed and covered, styled with hanging greenery and brick walls, and fitted with heaters, fans and air-conditioning so it works in any weather. Groups of up to 100 can book the courtyard for a private event. Smaller functions can also be held in the beer garden, and the Tudor-style bar works for small to medium parties. For seated dinners, the set menu starts with shared entrees for the table and a choice of mains such as chicken parmigiana, braised beef cheeks or barramundi. Dessert can be added per head. Larger groups of 40 or more can choose an Indian or continental buffet with four mains, sides and dessert. Platters of sliders, tacos, skewers, sushi and sandwiches suit a standing party instead. A refundable deposit holds the date, and dietary needs can be handled if you mention them when booking. The team can also help with the details for weddings and other celebrations.
